This programmable thermostat suits residential and light-commercial HVAC systems that use a single heating and cooling stage. It mounts on a standard wall box and operates on 24-volt control circuits with a 125 VAC supply rating. Installers and facility managers can select 7-day, 5-1-1-day or non-programmable scheduling to match occupancy patterns. The keypad lockout and adjustable temperature limits prevent unauthorised changes in shared or rental spaces.

Thermals noise and power draw

The unit draws minimal control-circuit current and produces no audible fan or relay noise during normal operation. Its backlit display illuminates only when the backlight button is pressed, keeping standby power draw low. No active cooling is required, so the thermostat adds no measurable heat load to the conditioned space. The relay contacts are rated for 24-volt switching, matching typical gas-valve and compressor-contactor coils.

Behaviour under sustained load

During continuous heating or cooling calls the relay maintains a stable 24-volt connection without contact chatter or voltage drop. The filter-change reminder tracks cumulative run time rather than calendar days, so it remains accurate under extended seasonal use. Dual-fuel logic manages heat-pump and backup-fuel changeovers without an outdoor sensor, even during prolonged cold snaps. The thermostat does not support line-voltage baseboard, proprietary communicating protocols or multi-stage equipment.
