Threaded Connector and Diameter Limits

The 5/8 In.-11 thread fits grinders with that exact spindle specification; other thread sizes will not engage. Brush diameters in the kit are 2 3/4 in and 4 in, so the maximum reach and surface speed are fixed by those dimensions. Face width is 3/16 in across the set, limiting the contact area per pass. No adapter or alternative mounting hardware is included.

Knot Wire Bristle Construction

The decisive specification is the standard twist knot and stringer bead twist knot wire made from steel. This bristle design delivers aggressive cutting action on steel but is not suited for non-ferrous metals or soft materials.
