When folded flat it projects only 2.3" from the wall, leaving the floor clear for vehicles or storage. The black steel brackets and particle-board top support up to 110 lbs of tools or supplies.

Practical Limits of the Wall-Mount Interface

The unit must be fastened to solid wood studs, brick or concrete; drywall alone will not hold the rated load. The 43.3" x 18" top and 110 lb capacity restrict the bench to light-duty assembly, sorting or craft work rather than heavy machining. Folding the shelf up removes the work surface entirely, so projects cannot be left in place when the area is needed for other purposes.

Installation Ease and Common Issues

All mounting hardware and instructions are included for a straightforward stud or masonry installation. The most frequent problem is attaching the brackets to hollow wallboard instead of structural studs, which leads to pull-out under load. Uneven bracket levelling can cause the 15.4" deep shelves to bind when folded, and the particle-board surface will swell if repeatedly exposed to moisture.
