The Uei CD100A detects a wide range of combustible gases including methane, propane, gasoline and refrigerants. 50 ppm Detection Limit

Sensitivity is fixed at 50 ppm with a stated accuracy of ±5 ppm, so the instrument will not register trace concentrations below that threshold. It operates reliably between 32 and 122 °F, meaning extreme cold or engine-bay heat can take it outside its calibrated range. The detector gives no quantitative readout above the detection floor, only an audible or visual alarm when gas is present.

Single-Gas Screening Tool

The unit comfortably handles routine leak surveys on fuel lines, refrigerant circuits and solvent storage areas where concentrations are well above 50 ppm. It runs out of utility when a job demands precise concentration logging, data export or detection of gases outside the listed detectable set.
