The TORK nsi 8601 is a new electromechanical cycle timer built for industrial electrical control and automation. It provides timed switching through a synchronous motor drive housed in a steel indoor enclosure with a gray enamel finish. The unit carries a cULus listing and a NEMA 1 rating for general-purpose indoor use. It mounts on a flat surface for integration into control panels or machinery.

Suited for repetitive on-off control up to 30

This timer suits applications that need a simple repeat cycle between one and 59 minutes with a one-minute resolution. It is not for processes that require sub-minute precision, more than 30 cycles per hour, or a day-skip function. Buyers who need programmable daily schedules or digital accuracy should look at a different class of timer.

Single-pole double-throw contact rated 20 A at 120 V

The SPDT contact switches up to 20 amps resistive at 120 volts AC and handles 3/4 horsepower at the same voltage. This electrical rating is the decisive specification: if the load exceeds 20 amps or requires a different voltage, the 8601 cannot be used. The package includes 60 trippers for setting on and off points across the 60-minute dial.
