Purpose & User

The TENMARS TM-402 anemometer measures air velocity from 0.4 to 25 m/s, temperature from -20 to 60 °C, and relative humidity from 20 to 80 %RH. It also reads absolute pressure from 350 to 1100 hPa and calculates air flow in CMM or CFM. Technicians performing spot checks at air outlets use the 30 mm vane for reliable readings. Data hold, max/min/avg functions, and 99-record memory support field logging.

Pre-Use Checks

Verify that the expected air speed falls within the 0.4 to 25 m/s range and that the operating environment stays within the -20 to 60 °C temperature limits. Confirm the humidity range of 20 to 80 %RH covers the test conditions, noting reduced accuracy above 80 %RH. Ensure the 30 mm vane can physically access the measurement point such as a duct or grille. The unit ships new and includes a three-year parts and one-year labor warranty.

Build Integration

The meter runs on standard batteries and uses a backlit display for low-light areas, requiring no external power or mounting hardware during operation. Its 99-record memory and recall function let technicians store readings on-site before transferring notes manually. The device does not log data automatically or connect to software, so users who need continuous logging or wireless export should plan a separate workflow. The compact red housing fits in a tool bag alongside other test equipment.
