The STEINER 387 blanket measures six feet by six feet and uses a vermiculite-coated fiberglass fabric rated to twelve hundred degrees Fahrenheit. The tan material weighs thirty-two ounces per square yard and is FM Approved for fire resistance.

Sustained Heat and Abrasion Resistance

The coating resists abrasion, slag, sparks and spatter during prolonged exposure rather than brief contact. At a thickness of point zero eight inches the fabric maintains its protective integrity under continuous high-temperature work. Grommets spaced twenty-four inches apart allow secure fastening that does not shift when the blanket is subjected to repeated thermal cycles.

Grommeted Corners for Fixed Mounting

Each corner carries two grommets, giving eight attachment points for bolts, hooks or wire ties. This layout lets the blanket hang flat as a curtain, drape over equipment or wrap around pipework without tearing at the edges.
