QO115VH 15 A High-Interrupting Breaker

The SQUARE D QO115VH is a single-pole miniature circuit breaker rated 15 A at 120/240 V AC with a 22 kA interrupting capacity. It uses a plug-in mounting style and screw-clamp terminals for installation in QO load centres and NQ panelboards. The toggle actuator provides manual switching and clear trip indication. This new device suits residential and light-commercial branch-circuit protection.

Fits QO load centres only

Electricians wiring a QO-series panel will find this breaker matches the bus and frame dimensions exactly. Installers working with Homeline, BR or other panel families cannot use this unit because the plug-in base and latch geometry differ. Buyers who need a two-pole or higher-amperage device must select a different catalogue number. The 48 V DC rating does not replace a dedicated DC breaker for solar arrays.

22 kA interrupting rating at 120/240 V AC

The 22 kA AIR rating is the single figure that determines whether this breaker meets the available fault current at the panel. If the service calculation shows prospective short-circuit current above 22 kA, a higher-rated breaker is required. For standard residential services where the utility fault current is lower, this rating satisfies Code requirements. No other specification in the data sheet overrides this limit.
