Compact fire safe for documents and media

The SentrySafe CFW20201 offers 0.28 cu ft of internal space to protect paper records, USB drives, CDs, DVDs and portable hard drives. A tubular key lock secures the lid and helps keep it closed during a fire event. The steel body weighs 20 lb and includes a built-in carrying handle for relocation. ETL verification and UL classification confirm the fire-resistance rating.

Fire and water resistance under prolonged exposure

The safe is rated to withstand fire for a period that meets the UL classification and provides water endurance for 72 hr. During a sustained blaze the tubular key mechanism prevents the lid from springing open, maintaining the protective seal. Steel construction resists deformation so contents remain shielded throughout the full test duration. No shelves or drawers are fitted, leaving the full interior volume available.

Upgrade from basic lock boxes or open storage

This model replaces unrated metal cash boxes, plastic totes or drawer storage that offer no certified fire or water protection. The jump is worth it when irreplaceable documents, digital backups or small valuables must survive a structural fire and the subsequent suppression effort. Buyers needing organised compartments, higher capacity or bolt-down mounting will require a different safe design.
