Behaviour under sustained use

The steel construction keeps the pole rigid when fully extended, preventing flex that can cause uneven coverage on ceilings or tall walls. The plastic tip threads stay engaged through repeated rolling pressure without stripping. Limits of the universal thread interface

The standard threaded tip fits most roller frames sold today, but frames with proprietary or quick-release mounts will not attach. The 1 in diameter tube cannot accept oversized frames that require a larger bore. Painters needing reach beyond 6 ft must join multiple poles, which adds weight and potential flex at each joint.
