100X passive probe for 300 MHz scopes

The Pintech CP3308R is a passive high-voltage oscilloscope probe designed for engineers and technicians working on switching power supplies, industrial controls, inverter circuits and automotive electronics. Its 100X attenuation ratio extends the measurement range to 2000 V while presenting a 100 MΩ input impedance and 5.5 pF capacitance to the circuit under test.

300 MHz bandwidth with 1.2 ns rise time

The probe delivers 300 MHz bandwidth and a 1.2 ns rise time, allowing accurate capture of fast switching edges in power electronics. Measurement accuracy is rated at ±1 %. The 5.5 pF input capacitance minimises loading on sensitive nodes, though the 100X attenuation reduces signal amplitude at the oscilloscope input, requiring sufficient vertical sensitivity on the instrument.

Standard BNC connector and 1.35 m cable

A standard BNC connector ensures compatibility with any oscilloscope, while the 1.35 m (53.15 in) cable provides bench reach without excessive length. The probe weighs 93 g (0.21 lb), keeping strain on the BNC jack low during extended sessions. It is not suited for low-voltage logic work where 10X or 1X probes would preserve signal-to-noise ratio.
