This Peerless proof coil chain is a 20-foot length of welded carbon steel rated at 4,500 lb working load limit. It is designed for pulling, towing or securing loads where overhead lifting is not required. The zinc-plated finish adds corrosion resistance for outdoor or marine environments.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous tension the Grade 30 carbon steel links maintain their 4,500 lb working load limit without the deformation seen in short-burst tests. Each welded link shares the load evenly across its 1 3/4 inch inside length and 3/4 inch inside width. The 2.36 lb per foot weight provides a predictable dead-load contribution for long spans.

NACM Standard Limits

The chain conforms to NACM specifications for Grade 30 proof coil, which defines the 4,500 lb working load limit and the 33/64 inch material thickness.
