Parker 20-Ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve

This adjustable thermostatic expansion valve is designed for refrigeration and air-conditioning systems requiring precise refrigerant flow control. It suits contractors and technicians servicing commercial or industrial equipment rated at 20 tons nominal capacity. The valve uses R-22 refrigerant and features a straight-through solder connection layout. It is not intended for systems using other refrigerants or capacities far outside the 20-ton rating.

20-ton nominal capacity with adjustable superheat

The single specification that determines fit is the 20-ton nominal capacity combined with external adjustability. This valve provides accurate superheat control over a wide variation in evaporator load, minimising hunting, flood-back and coil starving. Connector inlet is 7/8 in and outlet is 1 3/8 in for straight-through solder installation. A 60 in capillary and sensing bulb mounting clamp are included for proper bulb placement.

Balanced port design for stable operation

The balanced port construction helps maintain consistent performance across varying operating conditions. External adjustment allows technicians to set superheat without removing the valve from the line. The valve body is built for durability in normal commercial refrigeration duty. No special tools beyond standard refrigeration service equipment are required for installation or adjustment.
