The NBR/PVC material is coloured black and rated for a temperature range of -297 degrees F to 220 degrees F. It provides an approximate R value of 5.0 and measures 59/64 in length by 3 1/2 in width. The part is intended for ducts, tanks and piping systems.

Suited for installers needing a pre-formed tee piece

The pre-formed shape saves time on tee joints where sheet insulation would need cutting and mitring. It is not a straight length, so buyers insulating long straight runs should select a tubular or roll product instead. The fixed 3/4 in wall thickness cannot be altered, so projects requiring a different insulation depth will need an alternative.
