It is rated for plenum installations where fire safety codes apply.

Installation Fit and Clearance

The unslit design slides over the tube before the joint is assembled, so plan the insulation sequence during rough-in. Flexible foam conforms to the elbow radius without kinking, freeing installers from cutting and mitering straight sections on site.
