4 ft Cat6A UTP patch cable

This four-foot red patch cable uses unshielded twisted-pair construction with 24 AWG stranded pure copper conductors. RJ45 plugs on both ends carry 50 micron gold-plated contacts and follow the T568B wiring standard. The CM-rated PVC jacket meets UL and ETL verification of TIA/EIA compliance and RoHS requirements. It is built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 100 meters.

500 MHz bandwidth and 100 metre reach

Cat6A specification sets a minimum operating frequency of 500 MHz to support 10,000Base-T signalling. The standard guarantees 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance across the full 100 metre channel length, which equals 328 feet. Crosstalk suppression built into the twisted-pair geometry protects signal integrity at these frequencies. The stranded conductor remains flexible for patch-panel and desktop connections.

Replaces Cat5e and Cat6 links needing 10 Gbps

Installers move to this cable when existing Category 5e or Category 6 runs cannot sustain 10 Gigabit throughput or when PoE loads demand better heat dissipation. The 550 MHz rating provides headroom above the 500 MHz baseline for cleaner margins. It is not suited for environments that require shielded cabling or outdoor-rated jackets.
