The short answer

Pay with the asset you already hold. Moving funds between chains to save on a network fee usually costs more than the fee — an exchange withdrawal, a swap spread, and a second confirmation wait to save a couple of dollars is a bad trade.

If you genuinely hold several, the cheap networks are TRON, Solana and Litecoin, where a transfer costs cents and settles in seconds to a couple of minutes. Late, short, or twice

A payment that lands after the window is detected and reconciled against the order rather than lost. A payment that falls short is credited and the exact remainder is quoted, so a fee miscalculation costs you a second small transaction rather than the order.
