Morse MHS36 2.25" Bi-Metal Hole Saw

The Morse MHS36 is a 2.25 inch (57mm) diameter bi-metal hole saw built for general purpose cutting across stainless steel, machinable metals, wood and plastic. It targets tradespeople and maintenance crews who need a single reliable cutter for mixed materials on site or in the workshop. One saw is supplied per box and a separate arbor must be sourced.

Sustained cutting behaviour

An aggressive positive rake tooth profile lets the saw penetrate material easier and faster during extended cuts, reducing the force needed per revolution. The unique side slot improves leverage access through various material thicknesses and eases slug removal so the cut stays clear without frequent stops. Performance is optimised when Morse CUTLUBE is applied during longer sessions.

Heat, noise and power draw

Bi-metal construction dissipates heat through the high-speed steel teeth while the alloy back absorbs vibration, keeping the saw cooler during continuous drilling. Lower cutting resistance from the tooth geometry reduces load on the drive tool, which in turn limits motor heat and audible strain. No lubricant is included but Morse CUTLUBE (121408) is recommended to further manage temperature.
