Eye-and-eye design for rigging flexibility

The 12 in eyes on each end accept standard hardware without extra links or adapters. A basket hitch at 60 degrees supports 14,500 lb, while the same sling at 45 degrees handles 11,800 lb and at 30 degrees 8,400 lb. This range lets one sling cover several angle-dependent lifts, reducing the number of slings a crew must carry to the job site.

8,400 lb vertical capacity

In a straight vertical hitch the sling carries 8,400 lb, and a choker hitch reduces that to 6,700 lb. Basket capacity drops from 16,800 lb at 90 degrees to 8,400 lb at 30 degrees, so the rigger must match the angle to the load. Loads that exceed the rated angle capacity or require a longer reach fall outside this sling's range.
