Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement

The LANDTEK TM-8810 is an ultrasonic thickness meter designed for non-destructive testing of metal walls and other materials. It uses high-power emission and broad-band receiving sensitivity to measure thickness and corrosion levels. The gauge matches probes of different frequencies for versatile industrial use. A micro-computer LSI circuit and crystal time base provide high accuracy and fast measuring time.

Suited for industrial inspection.

This meter suits engineers and technicians inspecting pressure vessels, boilers, oil storage tanks and chemical equipment in petroleum, shipbuilding, power generation and machine manufacturing. It measures materials including steel, cast iron, aluminium, copper, brass, zinc, quartz glass, polyethylene, PVC, gray cast iron and nodular cast iron. It is not intended for measuring thin paint, plating or coating layers. Buyers needing coating thickness analysis should look at a different instrument type.

Wide measuring range with multi-frequency probe

The single specification that decides fit is the wide measuring range combined with the ability to match probes of different frequencies.
