This kit bundles a Klein Tools C265 punch-down tool with 20 UL-listed 90-degree CAT6 keystone jacks, 25 RJ45 pass-through connectors and a mini wire stripper. It is aimed at residential installers and DIY users who terminate network drops onto multi-port wall plates or patch panels. The tool works only with VCE C265 series keystone jacks.

Capacity and headroom

The 20 jacks and 25 connectors cover a typical room-by-room wiring job with a few spares for re-terminations. The single-action blade seats and cuts all eight wires at once, which the maker says is up to eight times faster than traditional single-wire tools. Once the included jacks and connectors are used, the kit has no further capacity unless refilled.

Build and daily implications

The tool’s replaceable SK5 steel blade head extends service life without buying a new handle.
