16mm Panel-Mount Momentary Switch

The JacobsParts LTCH-K3-YLW is a nickel-plated copper pushbutton rated for 250V AC/DC at 3A with an IP67 waterproof seal. It fits a 16mm cutout and includes a yellow LED that operates at 12V DC drawing 15mA. The momentary action closes the circuit only while the button is held, making it suitable for starter, horn or power-switch duties in automotive, marine and electronics projects.

Replaces Latching or Lower-Rated Buttons

Builders moving from a latching switch that stays on after release will gain momentary control that resets automatically when the button is freed. The step up is worth it when the application demands a sealed metal body rated to IP67 and a 250V 3A contact rating instead of a plastic, lower-voltage alternative. The 18mm faceplate and 36mm total depth require a panel thick enough to accept the 16mm thread depth.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The SPST normally-open contacts are rated for continuous operation at the full 3A across the -20C to 55C temperature range. The separate LED circuit draws a constant 15mA at 12V whether the button is pressed or wired to stay illuminated, so the switch body does not heat from the indicator. The IP67 rating is maintained during prolonged exposure to rain or splashes when the supplied O-ring is fitted behind the faceplate.
