16 mm IP67 momentary pushbutton

The JacobsParts LTCH-O3-BLU is a 16 mm aluminium momentary pushbutton rated for 12 V DC and 3 A switching. It fits a 16 mm panel cut-out and includes a metal nut plus an optional rubber O-ring for sealing. The blue LED can be wired independently so it stays lit or lights only when the button is pressed. It suits automotive, marine and electronics-project panels that need a compact, weather-sealed control.

IP67 sealing and low heat

The switch body is rated IP67, so it withstands heavy rain, splashes and temporary immersion without ingress. Aluminium zinc-alloy construction conducts heat away from the contacts during normal 3 A operation, keeping the actuator cool to the touch. The LED draws only 15 mA at 12 V, adding negligible thermal load and no audible noise in typical dashboard or enclosure installations.

Sustained 3 A at 250 V rating

The contacts are rated for 250 V AC/DC at 3 A continuous, so the switch handles prolonged actuation without derating within the -20 °C to 55 °C operating range. Momentary action means the circuit closes only while the button is held, preventing unintended latch-on during vibration. The SPST normally-open design ensures a clean break each time the actuator is released, even after extended use.
