Product Identity

The JacobsParts LTCH-F3-RED is a 16mm stainless-steel momentary push-button switch rated for 250 V AC/DC at 3 A. Its IP67 enclosure resists water and dust, making it suitable for automotive, marine and electronics panels where momentary actuation is required. The red actuator provides clear visual identification in low-light conditions. The switch fits a 16 mm panel cut-out and includes a metal locking nut plus an optional rubber O-ring for extra sealing.

Build Integration

The switch mounts through a 16 mm hole with 11 mm thread depth and an 18 mm faceplate, leaving 20 mm total depth behind the panel for wiring. Two screw terminals accept standard crimp or solder connections without special tooling. Momentary SPST normally-open operation means the circuit closes only while the button is held, freeing the designer from latching logic or extra control circuitry. Stainless-steel construction prevents corrosion in salt-spray or humid environments.

Capacity and Limits

Rated at 250 V and 3 A, the switch handles typical low-voltage accessory loads such as LED lighting, horn relays or starter solenoids. It is not suited for high-current motor loads or mains distribution beyond its 3 A limit. Operating temperature spans -20 °C to 55 °C, so extreme engine-bay heat or arctic exposure may exceed the specified range. The single-pole momentary action cannot maintain a circuit without continuous pressure, ruling out maintained on/off functions.
