20 A 250 V Watertight Locking Receptacle

The Hubbell HBL67W48 is a flanged, flush-mount receptacle built for wet and harsh environments. It provides a NEMA L6-20R locking connection rated at 20 amps and 250 V AC for industrial equipment and generator hookups. The IP69K-rated enclosure resists high-pressure wash-down and meets NEMA types 4, 4X, 6, 6P and 12. Impact-resistant PBT housing and stainless-steel hardware withstand heavy use.

IP69K Rating and NEMA Enclosure Limits

The IP69K rating confirms protection against close-range, high-temperature, high-pressure water jets. Compliance with NEMA types 4, 4X, 6, 6P and 12 covers splashing water, hose-directed water, temporary submersion and prolonged submersion. The device is not rated for continuous immersion beyond the NEMA 6P test parameters or for exposure to chemicals not covered by the listed enclosure types. Installers must verify that the mounting surface and conduit seals maintain the same protection level.

NEMA L6-20R Configuration Decides Fit

The receptacle accepts only NEMA L6-20P locking plugs with two poles and three wires. It will not mate with straight-blade plugs, other NEMA locking configurations or higher-amperage variants. Terminal screws accept conductors from 18 AWG to 8 AWG. Polarised contacts ensure correct alignment with a matching connector. If the application requires a different voltage, amperage or pin layout, this part is not suitable.
