The HNZXIB SPD-5L is a 5 L short-path distillation system built for laboratory enrichment, crystallisation, drying, separation and solvent recycling. It runs on a 220 V, 50 Hz supply and uses GG17 high-borosilicate glass for chemical resistance. A vacuum-jacketed adapter with four Vigreux stages and a magnetic-stirring heating mantle complete the package. Sustained Operation with 900 W Heating

The 900 W hemispherical mantle delivers fast, even heat across a large surface while the 40 W magnetic stirrer maintains continuous mixing during long runs. Vacuum capability reaches 0.098 MPa, supporting steady boiling points under reduced pressure. The alkali-free glass-fibre insulation seals the resistance wire for consistent thermal performance. First heat may produce white smoke and a brown liner discoloration as manufacturing residues burn off, after which operation stabilises.

Replaces Basic Glassware Sets Lacking Vacuum

The kit upgrades from simple flask-and-condenser assemblies that lack a vacuum-jacketed distillation head, integrated magnetic stirring or a purpose-built heating mantle.
