5L Short-Path Distillation Kit

The HNZXIB SPD-5L is a 5-litre short-path distillation system designed for laboratory enrichment, crystallisation, drying, separation and solvent recycling. It operates on a 220V/50Hz supply and uses GG17 high borosilicate glass for chemical stability and durability. The kit suits university, bio-pharmaceutical and petrochemical workflows requiring a compact distillation setup.

Sustained operation with 900W heating and magnetic

A 900W heating mantle delivers fast, flame-free heating across a large surface area while a 40W magnetic stirrer maintains uniform mixing during long runs. The vacuum-jacketed adapter with four Vigreux stages supports continuous separation at a vacuum degree of 0.098M pa. Intelligent digital display allows monitoring throughout extended distillation cycles.

Thermals, noise and power in normal use

The mantle liner uses high-temperature alkali-free glass fibre insulation with a sealed resistance wire woven into a hemispherical heater for efficient heat retention. On first heat-up the liner changes from white to brown and may emit white smoke and odour as production compounds burn off; this is normal. Power draw combines 900W heating and 40W stirring at 220V.
