Complete 5 L rotary evaporator system

This system combines a 5 L rotary evaporator, a double-tap vacuum pump and a refrigerated circulator on 110 V power. The evaporator uses a vertical double-coil condenser and a PTFE and fluorine rubber double rotating seal to maintain high vacuum. An electric lift with a 100 mm stroke and digital frequency conversion speed control from 20 to 140 RPM handles the flask. The water bath is stainless steel and the whole unit draws 2.0 kW.

Typical laboratory distillation workflows

The kit suits labs that need continuous vacuum distillation with solvent recovery for heat-sensitive compounds such as biologics. It is not for processes that require capacities above 5 L or voltage other than 110 V single phase 60 Hz. Buyers who need larger evaporation rates or different electrical supplies should look at other configurations.
