Hakko T15-D12 chisel tip for T15 series

The Hakko T15-D12 is a chisel-style soldering tip measuring 1.2 mm wide by 10 mm long. It fits Hakko handpieces FM-2027 and FM-2028 and works with stations FM-202, FM-203, FM-204, FM-206, FP-101, FP-102, FX-950 and FX-951. The composite tip withstands a maximum operating temperature of 840 degrees Fahrenheit. It suits technicians who need a standard chisel profile for general soldering tasks.

1.2 mm width and 10 mm length for focused heat

The narrow 1.2 mm chisel face concentrates heat on small pads and through-hole joints, while the 10 mm length reaches into moderately tight spaces. The 0.5 mm thickness provides quick thermal response without excessive mass. It handles typical board-level work comfortably but runs out of contact area for large ground planes or heavy connectors that demand a broader tip.
