Micro filter for clean compressed air

The Festo MS6N-LFM-1/4-ARV-DA is a micro filter designed to deliver compressed air quality class 1:7:2 per ISO 8573-1:2010. It uses a borosilicate fiber element rated at 0.01 µm filtration grade with 99.9999 % efficiency. The unit handles a standard flow range of 135 to 900 l/min at operating pressures between 2 and 12 bar. A fully automatic condensate drain and visual differential pressure indicator support continuous operation.

Suited for fine filtration in pneumatic systems

This filter suits installations that require very low residual oil content of 0.01 mg/m³ and reliable particle removal. It is not intended for applications needing coarser pre-filtration, activated carbon adsorption, or flow capacities exceeding the stated maximum. Builders without 1/4 NPT port compatibility or vertical mounting capability within five degrees should consider alternative configurations.

Stable performance across extended duty

The die-cast aluminum housing with plastic bowl guard and polycarbonate bowl resists moderate corrosion stress (CRC 2) over long shifts. Seals are NBR for compatibility with standard lubricated air. The automatic drain clears up to 38 ml of condensate without manual intervention, maintaining consistent pressure drop. The filter operates reliably in medium and ambient temperatures from 5 to 60 °C.
