Lead-Free Brass Compression Tee

This 5/8-inch outside-diameter compression tee joins three pipes at 90-degree intervals in residential and commercial piping systems. The solid lead-free brass body resists rust and corrosion for long service life. It creates a secure compression bond that prevents water leakage at every connection point. The fitting is supplied new and ready for installation.

Tool-Free Compression Assembly

Each of the three ports uses a compression nut and ferrule that seal by hand tightening followed by a wrench turn, so no soldering, threading or specialised tools are required. The most common issue is under-tightening the nuts, which leaves a slow leak, or over-tightening, which can distort the ferrule and crack the pipe. Debris on the pipe end or a missing ferrule will also break the seal. Always inspect the pipe for roundness and cleanliness before assembly.

Although the brass is lead-free by alloy definition, California Proposition 65 requires disclosure that handling this product exposes users to lead, a chemical known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands thoroughly after installation or maintenance. The warning applies to any contact with the fitting surface and does not indicate a functional defect in the component.
