This 85 mm gauge shows speed from 0 to 220 km/h using a GPS sensor instead of a traditional cable drive. It operates on both 12 V and 24 V systems, so it fits cars, trucks and boats alike. The stepper-motor needle reacts quickly to speed changes, and the LCD adds odometer, trip, hour-meter and sub-total readouts. Thermals noise and power draw

The unit draws minimal current from the vehicle electrical system and produces no audible noise because it has no cooling fan or moving parts beyond the needle.
