The Drill America DWC5-530-227 is a high-speed steel annular cutter built for fast, efficient hole making in magnetic drill presses. It removes only the material needed to form a clean hole, reducing waste and cutting time. The 3/4" Weldon shank locks directly into compatible mag-drill arbors. This tool is not for hand drills, standard drill presses or any machine lacking a Weldon mount.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

High-speed steel construction balances hardness and toughness, limiting heat build-up during steady cutting. The annular geometry removes a narrow ring of stock rather than a full disc, so the motor draws less current and runs cooler than twist-drill alternatives. No forced-air cooling or lubrication system is integrated, so the operator supplies cutting fluid as required. Vibration stays low when the cutter is seated securely in a rigid magnetic base.

Pilot pin and California Proposition 65 notices

A pilot pin is included to centre the cutter and eject the slug after each hole, eliminating secondary removal steps. The package carries California Proposition 65 warnings for chemicals known to cause cancer and for chemicals known to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. No additional coatings, carry cases or software are supplied with this cutter. Buyers needing carbide-tipped life or coolant-through spindles must select a different model.
