Decorative Pyramid Post Cap

The Decorex Hardware pyramid post cap is made of cast aluminium with a black glossy powder-coated finish. It is designed to fit over standard 4" x 4" square steel or aluminium posts. The cap adds a stylish finishing touch while protecting the post top from weather exposure. Buyers with 3.5" x 3.5" posts or non-square profiles will need a different size.

Pressure Fit Installation

The cap uses a pressure-fit design that requires no screws, brackets or additional hardware for metal posts. It seats securely over the post top when the post matches the stated 4" x 4" dimensions. For wooden posts the same cap can be fixed with glue, silicone or construction adhesive supplied by the installer. The aluminium construction resists corrosion and maintains its finish over time.

Replaces Basic Flat Caps

This pyramid cap upgrades a plain flat or domed cap by adding architectural profile and improved water runoff. The jump is worth it when the fence line is visible from the street or garden and a cohesive black glossy appearance is desired. It does not add structural reinforcement, so posts that are already damaged or undersized should be repaired or replaced first.
