Four-Stick Repair Kit for Finished Wood

The pack contains four blend sticks totalling .86 oz that let you match virtually any wood tone by using the colours individually or mixing them together. Designed for cosmetic touch-ups on finished surfaces such as panelling, moulding, furniture and cabinets, the putty fills nail holes, scratches and minor blemishes without shrinking, staining or discolouring. It is intended for interior use only on clean, dry surfaces that already have a finish applied.

Temperature-Dependent Application Window

The manufacturer specifies that the putty performs best when applied between 65°F and 90°F, so cold garages or hot attics outside that range may affect workability and adhesion. Warming a stick in your hand for a few minutes before use softens the material and makes it easier to spread. Excess is simply wiped away with a clean cloth and buffed lightly; wax can be applied afterwards if desired.

Not a Structural Filler for Large Defects

The product is formulated for shallow, cosmetic imperfections and will not bridge deep holes, cracks or gouges that require a true wood filler or putty with body. Buyers needing to repair larger voids or rebuild missing wood sections should choose a dedicated wood putty or plastic wood filler instead. The sticks are also unsuitable for raw, unfinished wood that has not yet been stained or sealed.
