What this sensor is and who uses it

The Banner OTBVP6QD is an optical touch button that operates on 10-30 V dc and provides a complementary PNP output. It mounts via an M30 x 1.5 thread and connects through a 4-pin MINI-style quick-disconnect with a 2 m cable. The polysulfone housing carries an IP66 rating and NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 12, 13 classifications for demanding industrial environments.
