Low-pressure gauge for 0–30 in wc

The Ashcroft 25 1490A 02L is a low-pressure gauge built for measuring inches of water column up to 30. It suits technicians and installers who need a clear reading on HVAC, ventilation or filter-monitoring systems. The 2 1/2 in dial with white face and black case provides good contrast in mechanical rooms. A 1/4 in male NPT bottom connection threads directly into standard fittings.

Accuracy class ±2-1-2 % across the range

The gauge reads from zero to 30 in wc with an accuracy of ±2-1-2 % of span, meaning the middle third of the scale is tightest. It handles clean, dry air or compatible gases at low differential pressures without over-range protection. Fields requiring higher pressure, vacuum capability or liquid media will need a different instrument. The polysulfone case resists many chemicals but is not rated for aggressive solvents.

The glass-filled polysulfone housing carries an IP54 rating, limiting dust ingress and splashing water in normal indoor use. No liquid fill or vibration damping is fitted, so pointer flutter may appear on pulsating sources. The polycarbonate lens resists impact but can craze under UV exposure. The unit ships dry and is not field-fillable, keeping maintenance simple for stationary installations.
