60/40 Rosin Core Solder 1.0mm

This 1.0 mm diameter solder wire contains a 60/40 tin-lead alloy with a 2.0 % rosin flux core. It melts at 183 °C (361 °F) and flows smoothly to form strong, shiny joints. The 50 g spool is suited for electrical soldering, DIY projects, home improvement and repair of stereo equipment, toys and TV circuit boards.

Capacity and headroom for fine work

The 1.0 mm thickness provides good control for small pads and through-hole components on circuit boards. A 50 g roll supplies enough length for multiple repair sessions or hobby builds. It is not intended for heavy-gauge wiring or high-volume production where thicker wire or larger spools would be more efficient.

Build quality and daily handling

The rosin flux core cleans oxidation as you solder, producing less smoke and clean residues. Supplied in a gift-ready package, the spool unwinds cleanly and stores neatly on a bench. Note the Proposition 65 warning: the product contains lead, which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.
