This Vszerda card adds two USB 3.0 Type-A ports to a system with a free Full-Mini (F1) Mini PCIe slot. It is built around a Renesas USB 3.0 host controller IC and draws 5 V power from an internal FDD connector. The bundle includes only the 19-pin header to dual female USB 3.0 cable.

Cable bundle limits

The supplied cable is the sole link between the card and the external ports, so port placement depends entirely on cable routing inside the chassis. No additional brackets, headers or software are provided, leaving mechanical mounting and driver support to the host operating system.

Mini PCIe bandwidth ceiling

The Mini PCIe interface caps throughput at the PCI Express 2.0 x1 lane rate, which restricts real-world USB 3.0 transfer speeds below the bus theoretical maximum. Systems without a spare Full-Mini slot or an FDD power connector cannot use this adapter.
