Vszerda
Splits one Ethernet cable into two 100 Mbps connections using a USB power cable
The Vszerda RJ45 Ethernet splitter divides one embedded eight-core Ethernet cable into two outputs, letting two devices share a single line simultaneously. A USB power cable is included to supply the splitter and enable the dual connection. It suits setups where only one wall port or router jack is available but two computers, a TV and a set-top box, or similar wired endpoints need concurrent network access. The adapter works with Cat5 through Cat8 cables and common networking gear such as switches, routers and ADSL equipment.
The USB power cable provides the energy required for the splitter to operate both ports at the same time. No external mains adapter or additional power brick is needed, keeping the arrangement simple and cable-free beyond the supplied USB lead. Because the device contains no fan or active cooling, it runs silently and generates negligible heat during normal use. Power consumption is limited to what the USB source can deliver, so there is no measurable impact on the host system’s power budget.
Each of the two output cables supports a transmission rate up to 100Mbps, and the two channels do not interfere with each other during simultaneous transfers. The gold-plated pin cores and closed insulation module maintain stable signal integrity over extended sessions, preventing degradation that can occur with unshielded junctions. The USB cable serves only to power the splitter; it carries no data, so bandwidth remains dedicated to the Ethernet paths even under continuous heavy traffic.
No published specifications for this item yet.
Plug the single RJ45 input into your wall jack or router, connect the two output cables to your devices, then insert the USB power cable into any USB port or charger to activate the splitter for simultaneous use.
The USB power cable is the only external component that carries current; if it frays or the connector loosens, swapping it for another standard USB cable restores power to the splitter.
Each of the two output ports is limited to 100Mbps, so sustained transfers on either device will not exceed that rate.
