Armored Cat6A cable for harsh environments

This 10 ft Cat6A patch cable uses a stainless-steel SUS304 armored jacket over a PVC layer to protect the four twisted pairs from rodents, moisture and UV exposure. The construction is rated IP65 for water resistance and remains flexible enough for tight routing in industrial, commercial or residential installations. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts on both ends follow the T568B wiring standard. The cable is certified compliant with TIA/EIA requirements by UL and ETL and meets RoHS directives.

Upgrade from standard unarmored patch cords

Replace ordinary PVC-jacketed cables when runs pass through areas with rodent activity, outdoor exposure or persistent dampness where unprotected conductors degrade quickly. The armored sheath adds mechanical protection without sacrificing the bend radius needed for cabinet or conduit routing. Confirm that the RJ45 plug body with its 50-micron gold contacts fits the port density on your switch, patch panel or PoE injector without blocking adjacent ports. Ensure the installation pathway can accommodate the armored jacket's outer diameter and that the 10 ft length reaches between termination points without tension. No tool-less keystone termination is provided; both ends are factory-crimped plugs.
