A 50 ft green Cat6 patch cable with RJ-45 connectors supports 10 Gbps up to 160 ft, 250 MHz bandwidth, 24 AWG copper conductors, 100 W PoE, and CMG fire rating
This 50 ft Cat6 patch cable supports 1, 2.5, 5 and 10 Gbps speeds up to 160 ft at 250 MHz. It uses 24 AWG stranded 100% copper conductors arranged in four UTP pairs with T568B wiring. The green PVC jacket carries a CMG fire rating and the assembly is ETL verified with UL rated wire (E132276-A).
The cable handles 100 W Power over Ethernet without overheating during continuous operation. Stranded copper construction maintains signal integrity across the full 50 ft run at 250 MHz bandwidth. Molded strain relief protects the RJ-45 contacts from fatigue when the link carries maximum PoE current for extended periods.
Both ends terminate in standard RJ-45 male plugs that snap into any 8P8C port without tools. The 50 ft length reaches between distant patch panels or wall plates in a single run. The only common issue is excess slack in tight cabinets; plan the route so the green jacket does not block airflow or snag on adjacent cables.

The cable is passive copper wiring with no active components, so it produces no heat and draws no power itself; only the connected PoE devices negotiate up to 100 W.
You need two devices with standard RJ-45 Ethernet ports — such as a router, switch, PC, access point or PoE-powered camera — and no additional adapters.
Yes, the T568B-wired cord is fully backward compatible; it will link at the highest speed both ends support, up to 1 Gbps on Cat5e hardware.
