Adjustable DC-DC cable converts USB 5 V input to 1.3 V-12 V output with LED display, on-off switch and three interchangeable tips
This USB to 5.5x2.1mm cable supplies adjustable DC power from a standard USB port. It targets hobbyists and technicians who need variable voltage for LED strips, small fans or similar low-power devices. The integrated module steps the 5 V input up or down across a wide range.
The single specification that decides fit is the adjustable output span of 1.3 V to 12 V at up to 0.5 A. A 2-bit LED display shows the set voltage in real time while a potentiometer dials the exact level. Output power is 3 W below 5 V and 6 W from 6 V to 12 V.
A 130 cm lead terminates in a 5.5x2.1 mm jack that accepts three swappable tips measuring 2.5x0.7 mm, 3.5x1.35 mm and 4.0x1.7 mm. The cable can replace 9 V battery packs when the jack is removed and wires are connected directly. It requires a USB source capable of 2 A to 3 A.

The cable contains a DC-DC step-up/down module that converts the USB 5V input into a variable 1.3V-12V output shown on a 2-digit LED display; you set the voltage with the onboard potentiometer and the built-in switch turns the output on or off.
The USB port must supply 5V at 2A-3A; the module then provides up to 0.5A at the 5.5×2.1mm output, delivering 3W at 1.3V-5V and 6W at 6V-12V.
The 130cm lead terminates in a 5.5×2.1mm plug and the package includes three snap-on adapters — 2.5×0.7mm, 3.5×1.35mm and 4.0×1.7mm — so you can match the barrel size your device requires.
