  • Locking mechanism secures cables against accidental disconnection
  • 45 mm metal body fits standard coaxial terminations
  • 11 mm centre-pin diameter matches common RCA specifications

What this connector kit provides

This pack contains ten RCA male plug connectors built for internal AV wiring. Each plug uses a metal shell with gold-plated contacts and a locking mechanism to hold coaxial cables securely. They suit installers adding or repairing composite video links inside equipment racks or custom enclosures.

Behaviour under sustained use

The gold plating resists oxidation so signal integrity stays consistent during long operating periods. The locking collar prevents the plug from working loose when cables are subjected to vibration or thermal cycling inside a chassis. Metal construction dissipates heat better than plastic alternatives, helping maintain contact pressure over time.

Check before ordering

Verify that your coaxial cable has a centre conductor and dielectric that fit an 11 mm central diameter opening. Confirm the 45 mm overall length clears the available space behind the panel or inside the enclosure. Ensure the receiving device uses standard RCA female jacks rather than a proprietary variant.

Questions about this item

Do these connectors generate heat or draw power during continuous AV use?

These are passive metal RCA plugs with no active circuitry, so they produce no heat and consume no power.

What cable type must I already have to attach these 45 mm gold-plated plugs?

You need coaxial cable with an 11 mm centre conductor diameter to match the plug's central diameter.

Will these 10-piece RCA male plugs fit the legacy composite video ports on my older receiver?

Yes, the standard RCA male interface is compatible with legacy composite and component video ports found on older AV equipment.
