Check connector and controller version

Verify that your Wii Remote Controller has the external connector required for the MotionPlus Adapter Sensor. Confirm the controller is the standard Nintendo Wii Remote model compatible with the MotionPlus accessory. This adapter will not work with controllers that lack the dedicated port or with later Wii Remote Plus models that already integrate the sensor.
