HDMI Audio Switcher for 4K Devices

This HDMI-compatible audio switcher connects an HDTV, DVD player or TV box and splits the audio signal for separate output. It handles 4K video pass-through while extracting sound to an external speaker system or amplifier. The unit is powered internally so no extra wall adapter is required. Ideal for home-cinema setups that need a simple way to route audio from a single HDMI source.

Check HDMI Ports and Audio Output Needs

Verify that your source device and display both provide standard HDMI sockets and that you have a free HDMI input on the screen for the switcher's pass-through connection. Confirm the audio extraction format matches the input your sound system accepts — optical, coaxial or analogue — as the adapter only outputs what the source delivers. Ensure the internal power draw is compatible with your existing cable routing and that no external power supply is expected.
