It supplies 4.5V to devices such as LED lights, radios, toys, clocks, calculators, keyboards and remote controls. The cable draws power from USB chargers, power banks or car adapters. Practical Limits of USB Power Delivery

The cable provides a fixed 4.5V output and cannot supply higher voltages or currents beyond what the USB source allows. It is unsuitable for devices that require more than three AA cells in series or that draw more current than a standard USB port can deliver.
