This product is a pair of passive video balun transceivers designed to transmit analog coaxial signals over UTP twisted-pair cabling. It supports AHD, CVI and TVI formats for CCTV installations. The units connect via BNC interfaces and require no external power source. They suit installers extending camera runs beyond standard coaxial limits.

Passive Transmission Over 300 Metres

Because the baluns are passive, signal attenuation depends on cable quality and installation practices rather than active amplification. They are rated for transmission distances up to 300 metres using Cat5 or similar twisted-pair cable. Performance under sustained load remains stable as long as the cable run stays within the rated distance and connectors are properly terminated. No power supply is needed at either end.

Check Cable Type and Connector Compatibility
