Splits one motherboard 4-pin header into four PWM fan connections for synchronised speed control over a 30 cm sleeved cable
This 30 cm cable splits a single motherboard 4-pin header into four PWM fan connectors. It allows four case or CPU fans to run from one header while keeping automatic speed control tied to CPU temperature. The sleeved wiring reduces clutter inside the chassis. Builders needing more than four fans from one header will need an additional splitter or controller.
Each of the four branches accepts a standard 4-pin PWM fan or a 3-pin fan. The cable carries the PWM signal to all connected fans so they ramp together with the CPU temperature curve. Total current is limited by the motherboard header rating, so very high-draw fans may exceed safe limits. Users with many high-power fans should check the header specification before loading all four ports.
The 24 AWG wires are wrapped in a braided sleeve and heat-shrunk at each connector for durability and a cleaner look. At roughly 11.8 inches the cable reaches from a CPU header to nearby case fans without excess length. No software or extra adapters are included; the splitter works passively once plugged in.
No published specifications for this item yet.
The cable uses 24 AWG conductors and is 30 cm long, a gauge and length chosen to deliver sufficient current for four PWM fans on one header.
Enter the BIOS or fan-control software and confirm that all four fans report RPM and respond to the CPU temperature curve.
The box contains one 1-to-4 4-pin fan extension cable; no mounting clips or extra hardware are supplied.
