The MICON IP310E iGuard 310E is a 2-port network video server designed for surveillance installations that need a small, self-contained streaming appliance. It targets installers and system integrators who want to deliver IP video without deploying a full PC at each camera location. The unit accepts a wide selection of USB cameras through its built-in expansion port, letting one box serve multiple lenses.

Built-in expansion port enables USB camera

The enclosure is roughly the size of a deck of cards and provides wired or wireless network connectivity for streaming video to the Internet. Its expansion port allows direct attachment of compatible USB cameras, turning a single network node into a multi-camera endpoint. Video can be recorded to an attached USB drive or to a hard drive on a remote PC, giving flexibility in where footage is stored.

Bundled iGuardView client centralises multi-camera

The package includes iGuardView PC-based client software that lets operators monitor and record feeds from multiple cameras on one workstation. This removes the need for separate viewer applications per device and simplifies day-to-day surveillance management. The software works with the server’s web-video-server upgrade to keep configuration and playback in a single interface.
